It has been a crazy year! HOOD Organization would like to wish everyone Happy Holidays. HOOD Clothing took it upon themselves to give homeless people clothing that would keep them warm through the winter season. Remember to help those in need when you can. No matter how small the help, you never know how big of an impact it can have on their lives!
Catholic Charities x HO Volunteering System
Due to what going on in the world right now, many individuals don’t have access to daily necessities like food. With time on our hands, HO has created a volunteering system that gives individuals within our communities the opportunity to support food banks. We would like to give a huge shoutout to Catholic Charities for granting us this wonderful experience. In addition to that, we would like to thank everyone who played a part in our system, without you all of this wouldn’t be possible.
HO X Dffrnt Pwr Music Program
In collaboration with Dffrnt Pwr, HOOD Organization was able to grant two local artists the opportunity for free studio time, FREE OF CHARGE. These artists enjoyed the free studio time for three long months (September - December). The significance of free studio time is to give the opportunity to local artists who may not have access to musical resources. This opportunity gives the two artists time to work on their craft and motivate other kids with interest in music!
COVID-19: Food Delivery to the elderly
Many individuals don't have access to daily necessities. During COVID-19, Hood Organization donated fruits and beverages to the clients at the Social Adult Care Inc. In addition, H.O aided SAC in preparing hot/cold meals and delivering them to their homes.
COVID 19: Food Bank Assistance
Unfortunately, COVID-19 is still harming people of need within our communities. Like she said, “Every little bit helps!” Hood Organization would like to give a shoutout to Bridge Builders and Food Bank 4 NYC for this opportunity. Nothing feels better than impacting lives during this unstable period. HELP WHERE YOU CAN!
COVID Awareness
Check out The COVID-19 pandemic has sparked a period where individuals have experienced difficulty with stabilization. We as the youth feel the urge to spread the significance of HUMANITY that will ease the hardships of the needy. Its is a blessing to be apart of this tremendous effort of supporting the community in such a time of need.
